Purple Mountains From Snoqualmie Ridge 1
This must be what "purple mountain majesty" means. The beautiful homes on Snoqualmie Ridge sit nicely below the fantastic Cascade mountain range just after sunset as seen from the Community Park.
Distant Hills and Mountains at Sunset
Nearby hills lead to more distant hills which in turn lead to the far distant Olympic mountain range just after sunset as seen from Snoqualmie Ridge.
Sunset On Snoqualmie Ridge 4
Looking west from a hillside on Snoqualmie Ridge, the sun casts it's last light over the valley below leading all the way across Puget Sound out to the Olympic mountain range.

In Seed At Sunset
Photographers say that the best light is at sunset. It lends everything an ethereal glow, especially during the late summer when the grasses are dry and the sun hangs low on the horizon.
In A Field At Sunset
A golden glow infuses the dried flower heads and grasses at sunset on a hillside on Snoqualmie Ridge.
The Pond With Mt Si
This is technically a holding pond for flood control, but it is set in a beautiful natural environment and the water is full of life, including at least two dozen frogs, several bird species, dragonflies, and a little bunny rabbit that jumped into the brush at the side of the forest. There's a nice view of the top of Mt Si and the reflections on the pond are beautiful.
Frog In Water
This pond located on Snoqualmie Ridge is chock full of frogs in the late spring/early summer. Kids really wanted to catch one but the frogs are way to fast! This frog was just hanging out for a few minutes and then swam away into some reeds at the edge of the pond.
The Pond Reflections
Technically this is a holding pond for flood control, but it is set in a beautiful natural environment and the water is full of life. The best part is the reflections of the trees and marsh grass on the water with some of the blue sky visible.
Spinning
This is a favorite park for kids. They love to get the "christmas tree" spinning as fast as possible. Dogs can even get in on the action!
Fisher Creek Park Climbing Wall
There's a great park in Snoqualmie Ridge with a climbing wall. Kids of all ages enjoy climbing on it.
Fisher Creek Bike Park
There's a great park in Snoqualmie Ridge with a small climbing wall. The climbing wall is fun, but if you really want a challenge, head up the trail on the right of the wall to the amazing bike track. It runs into the woods and is built up off the ground using wooden planks. It's unlike any bike park I've seen in the valley.
Evening Flowers
A low powered burst of light from the camera's on-board flash lights up these purple flowers at sunset on Snoqualmie Ridge.
In A Field Of Flowers
Morning sunlight shines through the purple petals of the flowers in this field on a hill on Snoqualmie Ridge.
Fencelined Path
The fence along this sidewalk leads you to see the mountains of the Cascade range seemingly stretching on forever into the distant mist.
Tree On A Hill
Beautiful white flowers bloom on the branches of this small tree on a sunny spring day on Snoqualmie Ridge.
