Playground Art I
At first this artistically designed playground equipment seems like it's not very fun or useful for actually playing but then you figure out how much fun it is to spin like crazy around on them. These are like playground sculptures built for kids to play on.
Path Around The Pond
The wooden fence around the pond at the Community Park disappears around a curve in the path on Snoqualmie Ridge.
Snoqualmie Ridge Winter Field
A wooden fence lines an empty field with trees along the ridge line in early March on Snoqualmie Ridge.
Snoqualmie Ridge Winter Grasses And Mt Si

Snoqualmie Ridge Jacobia Park
There are many parks on Snoqualmie Ridge. Jacobia Park is one of the newer ones, though they are are "new" and in beautiful shape with great play equipment for kids.

Snoqualmie Ridge Golfer
Some of the best views on Snoqualmie Ridge are from the golf course. It looks like this golfer could hit a ball all the way to the Cascade mountains from this spot!
New Blooms On Snoqualmie Ridge
The first blooms of spring near a park on Snoqualmie Ridge with the Snoqualmie Valley spreading out below rising up to the peaks of Mt Si.
Trees In The Fog
The normally inviting and playful trees at the Community Park take on a more ominous tone in the fog on Snoqualmie Ridge.

Nearby hills lead to more distant hills which in turn lead to the far distant Olympic mountain range just after sunset as seen from Snoqualmie Ridge.

In Seed At Sunset
Photographers say that the best light is at sunset. It lends everything an ethereal glow, especially during the late summer when the grasses are dry and the sun hangs low on the horizon.
In A Field At Sunset
A golden glow infuses the dried flower heads and grasses at sunset on a hillside on Snoqualmie Ridge.
The Pond With Mt Si
This is technically a holding pond for flood control, but it is set in a beautiful natural environment and the water is full of life, including at least two dozen frogs, several bird species, dragonflies, and a little bunny rabbit that jumped into the brush at the side of the forest. There's a nice view of the top of Mt Si and the reflections on the pond are beautiful.
